Rectangular copper wire has specific requirements for the R-angle size. It is a special-shaped enamelled wire extended from flat wire, composed of a rectangular conductor (copper, copper alloy, and other materials) and an insulating coat. A bonding coat can also be compounded on the surface of the insulating coat to achieve self-adhesive effect.
The R-angle size of flat wires is typically half of the thickness, while rectangular wires can be manufactured with smaller R-angle sizes according to specific application requirements. This requires more precise workmanship and presents greater production challenges compared to flat wire.
